On December 10, 2024, at 9:08 AM, TEEE held a groundbreaking ceremony for its UHV (Ultra High Voltage) and large-capacity high-end reactor plant. The project, located in the Xiaozhan Industrial Park in Jinnan District, Tianjin, covers a total construction area of approximately 21,413.71m2. This development includes new production workshops, outdoor roads, site landscaping, and supportive infrastructure, marking a significant step forward in the company’s expansion and capacity enhancement.

The ceremony was attended by notable figures, including Xue Tong, Deputy District Mayor of Jinnan District; Ren Shaokun, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Mayor of Xiaozhan Town; Liu Ye, Deputy Mayor of Xiaozhan Town; Gong Pingnan, Deputy General Manager of the MCC, Tianjin; Project Manager Yang Song; and various other distinguished guests. Key personnel from TEEE, including General Manager Wu Yukun, Executive Deputy General Manager Zhang Deshun, Deputy General Manager of Finance Ning Zhigang, Chief Engineer Luo Fuquan, and Corporate Management Center Director Dong Jian, were also present.

General Manager Wu Yukun delivered an opening speech, emphasizing the importance of this project in meeting the demand for high-voltage reactor products from major international customers, such as the Brazilian National Grid, European electricity networks, and the Indian National Grid. He assured all departments at TEEE would work diligently, collaborate seamlessly with construction teams, and proactively address any challenges during the project to ensure timely completion.

Gong Pingnan, representing the construction side, pledged a commitment to safety standards, innovation in construction techniques, and strict quality control to guarantee the project’s successful and timely completion.

 Deputy District Mayor Xue Tong extended warm congratulations on the project’s commencement, highlighting its significance as a crucial industrial venture within the district. He noted its potential to optimize the industrial structure and facilitate economic transformation and upgrading. He encouraged the project team to leverage their technical expertise to expedite progress and achieve operational status swiftly, thus contributing positively to regional economic growth.

After the speeches, General Manager Wu Yukun officially announced the completion of the groundbreaking ceremony. The moment was celebrated with colorful smoke and fireworks, creating a festive atmosphere. In this spirited setting, the leaders proceeded to the foundation site, where they ceremoniously laid the first shovelful of soil, symbolizing the project’s foundational stability and promising growth.
